Community Behaviour Rules

  1. Assume good faith. We’re all here to help, rather than hurt each other. If someone says something that appears to be bigoted or cruel, please give them the chance to discuss what they actually mean, rather than attacking them outright. We all come with different cultural, linguistic, and neurological backgrounds. Assume that everyone is trying their best, even if their best isn’t that great today.

  2. No bigotry. We do not tolerate queerphobia, transphobia, racism, xenophobia, or other kinds of prejudiced language or behaviour.

  3. Don’t make personal attacks. If you find your emotions getting the better of you, please step away and give yourself the time and space you need to look after yourself, rather than responding to others in anger.

    4. Respect people’s boundaries. If someone says something that crosses a line for you, please say so and step away from the exchange if you need to. If someone tells you that you’ve crossed a line for them, please respect this, apologise, and disengage.
  4. No sex- or kink-shaming. Do not make moral judgements about what consenting adults do with each other, or about what fantasies or fiction they engage with.

  1. Please use relevant titles and tags when making a new posts. If you’d like new tags to be added, contact an admin.

  2. Please keep requests for advice, identity questioning, and sharing tips to the relevant megaposts. This is partly to avoid clutter, and partly to keep useful information centralised in a few easy-to-find places.

  3. If you’ve found an interesting older post and want to start a new discussion about it, feel free to make a new post and link back to the old discussion. Otherwise people might not see your new comments!
