Yeah, I wasn't necessarily saying you, I was just bringing up that that can often be a root of confusion on the term queerplatonic when people misinterpret it to mean non-sexual. (Which it sounds like, from the other comments, that that is typically not the controversy you have seen, but in my experience it can often be connected to this issue.)
